Q// How much will my retainer payment?
100% of your balance is due up front. Please wait until you are financially ready before booking your session.
Q// Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans are typically not available for new clients. Past clients may request a payment plan for fees totaling more than $1000. Past clients that have had issues with payment plans before will be required to pay in full up front.
Q// How do I prep for my photo session?
You will receive a Session Prep Guide that explains tips on location, vibe, hair, makeup, wardrobe, what to do with your hands, etc.
Q// I don’t usually wear makeup, it’s ok to shoot without it right?
Absolutely LOVE a natural beauty, but as a photographer I do have to tell ya: no makeup on your face does not translate on camera as the ‘fresh and natural’ look you think it might. It is recommended that after you invest in a professional photographer you also invest in a professional makeup artist. Getting your makeup done doesn’t always mean purple eyeshadow and a bold red lip. Makeup artists can do anything, including a natural, clean look that translates on camera in the way that I’m sure you’re thinking ‘no makeup’ will.
Q// Will you remove my wrinkles, make me skinnier, fix my teeth, take 10 years off my face, shrink my love handles, fix my thighs, etc?
As an 11-year vet I have heard every photoshop ‘joke’ in the world. And to be honest, its cringy every single time. Please, if you currently feel like you might not love seeing yourself in professional photos, work on your inner confidence and self love before booking a photography session. If you can get through a session without making a body ‘joke’ you should know that during the retouching process, I typically remove flyaways, blemishes, and wrinkles in your clothes, whiten your teeth, remove face shine and make slight adjustments if I feel like it will enhance your beauty. Retouch requests after your final gallery is delivered will require a fee of $10 per image. Note: You will not be photoshopped into a completely different person so please dont ask or ‘joke’ about it. Loveyoumeanit <3
Q// Can I use of my images for my book cover?
Yes, with the purchase of the correct license. See above.
Q// What if I have to re-schedule my photo session?
A re-scheduling fee of $425 will be required plus any additional travel fees incurred with the re-scheduling of your session. Re-scheduled sessions must be completed within 60 days of the original session date or all credits will be lost and you will need to re-book your session at the current rate.
Q// What if you have to re-schedule my photo session?
It is rare that I re-schedule sessions, however I do reserve the right to re-schedule your session. In the event that I do need to re-schedule your session (for example: act of god, health issue, a government shelter-in-place order, it is not safe to get to you, etc), I will notify you via email with as much advance notice as I possibly can. Your session will be re-scheduled at no additional fee.
Q// Can I upgrade/add things to my package after I have already booked?
Yes, you may add on additional services after purchase, pending availability. Remaining balance will be due immediately.
Q// If I want to shoot in a location that requires a parking fee, admission ticket, boat ride, plane ticket, overnight stay, etc does your base rate include that?
Out of the ordinary additional payments needed to fulfill your photography dreams are not already included in the base rate. So for example if you want me to meet you at ABC Botanical Gardens and the ticket fee is $20 you would be responsible for purchasing the ticket. If you want me to meet you anywhere where valet is $60, you would be responsible for covering that. If you live in New York but you want to shoot in Cabo, you would be responsible for travel fees. You get it, yea?
Q// I would be considered a high-profile/celebrity client, can you hold off on posting any of my images/videos until they've been published to maintain exclusivity?

Q// Do we get the copyrights to the images/videos taken?
The standard image license allows you to digitally post, and print your images/videos but copyright ownership is not transferable without an additional (hefty) fee.
Q// What if a major brand I’m partnering with wants to use my photo/video? What if someone wants to print me in their book? What if a major brand wants to use my photo/video for one of their campaigns? What if I want to use one of my photos for the cover of my book?
An additional usage license will need to be purchased for non-organic usage such as those.
Q// Can I have the .RAW, unedited images? Can I have ALL the images?
The base rate covers high-resolution .JPGs edited in my signature style only. You will not receive every image taken during your session, you will receive the BEST images taken during your session. Unedited .JPGs will only be delivered if required by a major brand that you are partnering with (and you have purchased the necessary license).
.RAW images are not available for purchase.
Q// I’ve looked at your website and understand exactly what you shoot and how you edit your photos. Can you shoot something completely different and/or edit mine images outside of your usual editing style?
I specialize in lifestyle photography of people with a focus on natural lighting. Please be sure that you both understand my expertise and love my style before you book.
Q// How long will it take to receive my images?
I will deliver your un-edited gallery within 5 days, you need to choose your favorites within 48 hours. From there I will deliver your final edited + retouched gallery within 2 weeks.
Q// What if I need my photos sooner?
I cannot hold space for rush orders. Please schedule your session with enough time to allow for a 2-3-week turnaround.
Q// What if I absolutely do not want you to post ANY of my images anywhere on the internet to assist you in booking future business?
Showing people pretty pictures is how I book new business. Please chat with me prior to booking your session so that I may determine if we are the best fit.
